byManon Anneau
October 10, 2019
in Shape Your Future, Women

Diane MacEachern is an award-winning entrepreneur and she is the Founder and CEO of Big Green Purse which is focused on enabling “women to use their consumer power to protect themselves, their families, and the planet”. The goal of Big Green Purse is to lead people to buy less and buy only safe and green products and services.

Diane is also a best-selling author as she sold around 400 000 copies of her “how to go green” books and wrote Big Green Purse: Use Your Spending Power to Create a Cleaner, Greener World which was a finalist for the well-known “Books for a Better Life” award. As a best-selling author, she decides to found Writers on a Mission to share her tools, tactics and strategies she used in order to write. She helps dozens of people to start, finish and/or publish their books thanks to her knowledge and past experiences.

She did not stop there as Diane also helps many companies (Avon, Whole Foods, Frito Lay) and organizations (the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the United Nations Development Program) by providing them with expert advice, consumer guidance, and employee engagement workshops.

Her work and implication in the green field have been recognized over the year as she received the “Image of the Future” award from the World Communication Forum in Davos, Switzerland and has been named as one of America’s EcoHero by Glamour magazine. She has also been part of the “16 Women in Sustainability You Must Follow” list of Earth & Industry, as well as Blogtrepreneur’s “100 Must-Read Green Blogs for Women”.

Here below is the full interview with Diane MacEachern, to find out even more about her, including how she shapes her future!
