Fitness At CES 2022: New G260 Rowers By SportsArt

The new G260 Eco-POWR Rowers by SportsArt enables a full-body workout while not only taking care of yourself but also of the environment. An exclusive feature of the product is the built-in patented micro-inverter, converting users’ energy into electricity.

SportsArt, a company with over forty years of history in the fitness and sustainability industry, is well known for its innovative technological patents.

Ruben Mejia, SportsArt’s executive vice president, defines the brand as “founded with one goal in mind – to change the world one workout at a time and inspire a community movement for better health and wellness”. For him, “this latest addition to our ECO-POWR line does just that”.

Sport Now Rhymes With Comfort

This new G260 Eco-POWR Rower is full of surprises. SportArt’s first aim was to respect the body’s biomechanics and through its ECO-POWR line took important matters into consideration.

Special pedals help rotate at the perfect pivot point and minimize the stress on users’ feet. This prevents plantar fasciitis. The special handlebar has different presets levels of resistance. The electromagnetic braking system makes users feel like they are rowing on water. Furthermore, a led display allows users to understand how many watts are being generated. And this is actually an interesting feature as the rower is able to convert up to 74% of users’ energy into electricity.

A User-Friendly Fitness Machine

Using new fitness machines can be tiring and stressful for new users. To avoid that, SportsArt chose to integrate fingertips controls within the rowers’ handlebar. With this feature, it is now possible to adjust resistance levels while trying them. Smart workout programs are also available to guide new users. For extra comfort, the machine also has an integrated cup and phone holder.

Working Out With Two Goals In Mind

Working out normally has only one aim. Now, it is possible to have two: taking care of our body and producing usable energy. One hour of working out with this new machine produces the amount of electricity needed to power a desktop computer for almost 2.5 hours.

This might help Netflix-lovers to find the motivation to work out as the LED display keeps updating the amount of energy produced by rowing and it keeps track of our efforts. With a sensation of usefulness, we can continue our sport, and even get better at it faster.

As you can see, this new rower by SportsArt is more innovative than ever. Fitness is, once again, revisited by this fitness company. What will be their next project?
