Alan Berg is a global nutrition expert who led the World Bank’s nutrition portfolio for 22 years. He authored the seminal book "The Nutrition Factor: Its Role in National Development," co-chaired a White House Task Force on Nutrition during the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations, and and received the United Nations Achievement Award for Lifelong Service to Nutrition in 2008.
