Shape Your Future with Hayden Dansky

Hayden Dansky is Executive Director of Boulder Food Rescue (BFR). BFR is committed to a juster and less wasteful food system. Hayden works on redistributing healthy food to low-income communities, and educating people about food justice. In the past 7 years, BFR has distributed more than 2.6 million pounds of healthy food to families in Boulder.

Apart from Hayden Dansky’s outstanding work at BFR, they are also part of the Boulder County Healthy Eating Active Living team and has created an activist and queer space in Boulder. Hayden also spends time as a queer and transgender poet and artist.

We recently had the opportunity to speak to Hayden about their ideas, work, and how they are shaping their future. Here’s what they had to say:
