People often say that if you have good taste, you can shop anywhere. But knowing what to buy when you get there is a whole different story.

A classic men’s coat and jacket are hard to beat for all the smart and classy occasions that may come up during the fall or winter season. Outerwear is an essential part of any well-dressed man’s wardrobe because it is insulating, versatile, and an easy way to elevate any look.

Wool is not waterproof, but it is water-resistant, holding 20% of its weight in water before becoming heavy or wet. It’s also one of the warmest fabrics available, thanks to fine fibres that trap air that the body can heat up.

The coat and jacket could be simple, it means you can wear it to a Christmas party as easily as you can throw it over like your Sunday best hoodie.

Here Are Some Men’s Iconic Coats and Jackets That Every Man Needs

DE IONESCU Military Hemp Jacket

You might be wondering what exactly a military jacket is. Well, it is basically the straight cut that gives it the appearance of a uniform. The acute discipline that is displayed could give you a  “quiet strength” aura and it just adds up a little of everything making it look near perfect.

However, whatever the reason, this 100% Hemp Military Jacket is the ideal companion for your everyday life: elegant, casual, and official. This jacket adapts to any style depending on the clothes you pair it with, making you feel like a true chameleon. Furthermore, this fantastic hemp coat demonstrates that fashion is not only about design, but also about manners.

ARTKNIT STUDIOS Wool Overshirt Jacket

For this season’s crazy weather shifts, even if it can be hot in October, you’ll need some serious layering skills. Allow this ARTKNIT Overshirt Jacket to take care of your appearance and comfort; put it on whenever there’s a cool breeze and take it off before you break a sweat.

Through their direct-to-consumer business model, Artknit was born under the sign of innovation and sustainability, and this element will always be an integral part of the brand’s culture.

From concept to innovation, this piece is 100% natural and biodegradable, with no microplastic released into our oceans. Simply a perfect fit for everyone.

DE IONESCU Bucoviva Hemp Jacket

When Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, act 1, scene 3, “The apparel oft proclaims the man,” he was most likely referring to this Bucovina Hemp Suit Jacket (just kidding) This, however, has a definite advantage: It is a minimalistic, organic, and breathable double-breasted suit jacket that is a staple of DE IONESCU hemp collection.

This hemp creation, tailored to a slim fit and featuring a broad peak lapel, patch pockets, and organic coconut buttons, perfectly balances comfort and uniqueness, elegance and nonconformity, making it a versatile and smart option.Well  worth-investing in, it’s a perfect match for any important occasion and dinner.

TRUE NORTH M’s Jacket

Now, for someone who loves to keep it simple yet classy. This True North M’s Jacket is a cutting-edge athleisure piece with a strong emphasis on sustainability. True North is ideal for any sports enthusiast because it stands for functional, breathable clothing. Minimalistic and casual elements combine to create an item that can be worn for basics in everyday life – with a particularly clear conscience.

Why a clear conscience? Consider how this jacket is made. It may feel like other polyester fabric you are used to, but it is totally different. It does not use your usual polyester full of toxic chemicals that pollute water and air and cause health problems for local communities.

TRUE NORTH’S M Jacket uses recycled polyester, in other words, PET, which is the same raw material used for clear plastic water bottles that can be recycled – hence, kept out of landfills.

O. Slow Sassy Jacket

By combining fashion and sustainability, this O.Slow lightweight rain jacket is recyclable. Not only does it provide weather protection, but also adding a bit of style to the wearer. The entire story, oddly enough, begins during a weekend in Brittany.

Two friends who love nature take a walk on the beach. They are enjoying the sea breeze and the color of the waves and then they notice something really sad: the beaches are littered with plastic waste. The two friends are so shocked that they decide to dedicate their lives to do something about this.

That is how they eventually created their own unique brand and as they told us: ” We realised that the source of the problem was within us. More than 60% of the plastic produced is destined for the textile industry“

They both then devised a plan to deal with the distressing situation and designed this amazing jacket. Plus, 1% of its turnover will be donated to the Surfrider Foundation Europe and protects the oceans through several types of contributions: collecting of aquatic waste, development of the coastline etc.
