Oghenechovwen Oghenekevwe studies Meteorology and Climate Science at The Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria. For 3 years, he has worked in the environmental affairs and development space, including with the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, World Oceans Day Youth Advisory Council, Care About Climate, The Green Institute, and Earthplus Africa.
Now, he serves on the Development Team, Ocean Knowledge-Action Network of Future Earth. In his stories, he often tries to explain how our shared environment interrelates with human and social topics. The Durbanville-based Maritime Review Africa named him Green Warrior in a 2016 issue reporting on the African maritime industry.
