Dr. Bernd Parusel

Dr. Bernd Parusel is a political scientist and a migration expert. At the Swedish Migration Agency, he is responsible for studies and reports in the framework of the European Migration Network (EMN). He also served in research-related positions at the Swedish Migration Studies Delegation (DELMI) in Stockholm, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees in Nuremberg, Germany, and as a lecturer at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. For the Swedish Migration Studies Delegation, Bernd Parusel recently wrote a comprehensive study on Reforming the Common European Asylum System: Responsibility-sharing and the harmonisation of asylum outcomes, together with Jan Schneider.
