RFK Jr.’s Vaccine Policies: A Hoax on Citizens

Medical experts from the One Health initiative debunk vaccine myths promoted by RFK Jr. and outline what must be done to protect public health

All current and most past scientific data indicate no significant difference between the benefits and risks associated with approved traditional vaccines compared to mRNA vaccines. Yet, President Trump continues to doggedly support his appointed Health and Human Services (HSS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his bizarre, inexplicable, irrational, dangerous, injurious, unsafe, and toxic quest to profane historically proven, longstanding medical practices.

Below is the unvarnished truth in contrast to the unintentional hoax or rhetorical con being perpetrated on the people of America.

Rare, Serious Risks

Serious adverse events are extremely rare for all approved vaccines, and regulatory bodies like the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) conduct rigorous safety monitoring, with the American Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) providing fact-based recommendations on the use of vaccines.

Below is a general informational summary that synthesizes well-established information about vaccine safety from public health authorities. The information aligns with guidance and data provided by organizations such as the FDA and the CDC before they were corrupted by political indoctrination.

Risk Category  mRNA Vaccines (e.g., COVID-19) Traditional Vaccines (e.g., Influenza, MMR)
Infection Risk Cannot cause infection because they do not contain any live or dead virus parts. Live-attenuated vaccines (e.g., MMR, chickenpox, polio) contain a weakened virus, which poses a minor risk of infection for people who are pregnant or severely immunocompromised. Inactivated or protein subunit vaccines do not carry this risk.
Severe Allergic Reactions Anaphylaxis is a rare possibility (around 2.5 cases per million doses). Anaphylaxis is also a rare possibility, similar to most other medical products.
Specific Complications A rare risk of myocarditis and pericarditis (heart inflammation), particularly in young men, has been observed, but the risk of heart complications from the actual disease (e.g., COVID-19) is substantially higher than from the vaccine. Some traditional vaccines have been linked to rare neurological complications like Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), although studies suggest this is at a lower rate than the actual diseases they prevent.
DNA Interaction The mRNA is quickly broken down by the body and does not enter the cell’s nucleus, so it cannot interact with or alter a person’s DNA. Traditional vaccines also do not alter DNA.

Unequivocally, global immunization efforts have been instrumental in improving public health and life expectancy worldwide. This applied to an estimated 154 million lives saved over the past 50 years.

Sadly, it appears that both the HHS Secretary and the President genuinely believe in their posture and mean no harm. Yet, their colossal misinformation campaign has virtually become the law of the land, accepted to a large extent by politically blinded, health-illiterate constituents regardless of the truth. However, incongruously few in the Republican Party criticize Kennedy’s policies.

Truth is that these people just plain “don’t get it.” But they will eventually “get it,” i.e., an avalanche of elevated morbidity (unnecessary illnesses) and mortality (unnecessary deaths). Lots of them are gonna get sick, and some will die unnecessarily.

What can and must be done to combat this calamitous blunder

For sanity to prevail and to combat these anti-vaccination mandates, dramatic actions must immediately and repetitiously be taken (some have already been done) at professional, state, and individual levels. They must advocate for the scientific consensus viewpoint, protection of access to vaccines, and, in general, counter this pervasive misinformation.

Actions by professional organizations have included the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) creating valid immunization schedules and recommending alignment with scientific evidence, in contrast with HHS federal changes. AAP provides clear guidance for parents as well as healthcare providers. No less than six respected medical organizations have engaged in legal actions that accuse the current HHS leadership of open hostility towards established scientific processes.

Advocacy groups need to continue using legal means to challenge actions that undermine obvious public health protections. A united front should be consistently and repetitively established whereby they publicly denounce non-evidence-based data and studies that challenge the truth, thus ensuring access to the latest scientific data for society. To avoid confusion among parents, health experts — using public affair expertise — should consistently communicate efficacy and safety of vaccines publicly and privately as opposed to those relying on unsubstantiated anecdotes.

Legislation via states, despite new federal recommendations that do not mandate childhood vaccinations, should be encouraged for passage. For example, the “Protecting Free Vaccines Act” that requires private insurance, Medicaid and Medicare to continue covering all ACIP vaccines free of cost-sharing provisions despite new HHS federal recommendation should be promoted.

All 50 states must continue enacting immunization laws at their level to expand non-medical exemptions which might lead to a resurgence of preventable diseases. Further, where federal HHS vaccination programs for children become compromised, states could potentially use state-only funds to protect access for low-income children by creating new mechanisms to purchase and administer vaccines. Private citizens and healthcare professionals should contact their local government representatives expressing support for evidence-based public health policies that scrutinize appointments to federal health advisory committees.

Individual participation cannot be overemphasized. Local public health workers must help actively educate these individuals so that all can promote educational awareness by debunking the erroneous autism claims and linkage to vaccine use. Trusted pediatricians and family physicians are usually best qualified with science-backed, credible resource information for guiding laymen about efficacious immunization schedules for their children.

You can count on declining vaccination rates from these harmful HHS policies to fulminate into our previously outlined “avalanche of elevated morbidity (unnecessary illnesses) and mortality (unnecessary deaths)” if the multifaceted strategies enumerated are not inaugurated straightaway. Lots of people are gonna get sick, and some will die unnecessarily.
