On March 3–4, 2026, business and sustainability leaders, investors, and policymakers will gather at the Royal Armouries in Leeds for the inaugural Reset Connect North, a new conference designed to help accelerate the green transition across the UK.

“Reset Connect North is designed to bring together the brightest minds, the most innovative businesses and leading public sector organisations to drive meaningful action in the green economy,” said Duncan Reid, CEO and Co-Founder of Reset Connect.

The two-day event, taking place as part of the West Yorkshire Innovation Festival, will convene over 2,500 attendees, 100 speakers, 150 exhibitors, and 500 investors. It is the first regional edition of Reset Connect London, an award-winning sustainability and net-zero event in the UK.

Sponsored by KPMG and boasting the West Yorkshire Combined Authority as a strategic partner, Reset Connect North will offer a snapshot of where the UK’s regional net-zero push is heading — and who is shaping it. The event also aims to contribute to efforts to achieve West Yorkshire’s net-zero goals by 2038.

“This event shares our commitment to ensuring West Yorkshire achieves net zero by 2038, while boosting prosperity across the region. We have a thriving green economy, worth around £8 billion and powered by more than 3,000 businesses, but we’re not standing still — we’re helping our innovators to scale and grow,” said Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin, who will be one of the speakers. “Bringing this conference to Leeds will help cement our place as a national leader while signalling that West Yorkshire is open for the next wave of transformational investment, innovation and growth.”

The event will feature two main stages for keynotes, panel discussions, and real-world case studies. The Transforming Cities & Communities Stage will spotlight “how local authorities and urban leaders are building future-ready, climate-resilient places through clean transport, retrofit innovation and regional collaboration to deliver system-wide change.”

The Transforming Business & Industry Stage, on the other hand, will explore how organisations can decarbonise operations, strengthen supply chains against future risks, and link sustainability to long-term growth. It will explore investment trends, digital sustainability, and the green skills transforming the regional economy.

Alongside these stages, there will be show floor hubs that will provide immersive, interactive experiences and meaningful networking platforms. The Innovation Hub will highlight sector-specific tools and technologies that can help businesses and connect attendees with experts targeting scalable, sustainable business models and green skills pathways. The Finance & Investment Hub, sponsored by FUNKLED, will delve into how finance is driving the transition to a greener economy. The event will also feature a Pitch & Invest Programme and a series of VIP Workshops & Roundtables.

Among the high-profile speakersat Reset Connect North are Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire mentioned previously; Cllr Susan Aitken, Leader of Glasgow City Council; Richard Andrews, UK Sustainability Lead at KPMG; Michelle Cooper, International Trade Adviser at the Department for Business & Trade; Rishi Jain, Director of Impact at Liverpool FC; Alex Martin, Head of Environmental Risk at Admiral Group; and Phillip Holdgate, Head of Production Sustainability at ITV.

Beyond KPMG, notable sponsors include the Department for Business & Trade, National Wealth Fund, Climate Change Committee, University of Leeds, Liverpool FC, Glasgow City Council, Octopus Energy, Aviva, GB Energy, Zenobē, West Yorkshire Pension Fund, Impact Investing Institute, ITV, Manchester Evening News, Leeds United FC, and Rugby Football League.
