In this 5th episode of the short film series “Climate . Change”, Jose Miguel Bermudez, CEO of Bound4Blue, explains how his Barcelona-based startup is fighting against dependence on fossil fuels and CO2 emissions with the development of its wingsail solution: a collapsible mast and rigid sail system that will enable existing or upcoming merchant ships to use wind power as propulsion and consequently save significant money on gas and reduce toxic gas emissions into the atmosphere. A 1% penetration rate of Bound4Blue’s technology in the maritime industry would be the equivalent of eliminating 4 million diesel cars off the roads.

“Climate . Change” is a short documentary series directed by Thierry Daher & Julie Benasra and produced by Positive Solutions (www.positivesolutions.net) with the support of Solutions & Co by Sparknews.
