Tony Mestres is the President & CEO of Seattle Foundation, one of the largest community foundations in the country. Since joining Seattle Foundation in 2014, Tony has repositioned the Foundation as a voice for community needs and philanthropic strategies that create greater equity and opportunity for all. Tony directs the strategic counsel and support provided to more than 1,200 philanthropists and oversees the investment of strategic grants. Tony previously worked in technology and communications, including a 17 year-career at Microsoft, where he served as vice president of sales and marketing for the Windows product line.
