Steven Hyland is an associate professor in the Department of History and Political Science at Wingate University and teaches courses on the history of Latin America and world history. He is the author of More Argentine Than You: Arabic-Speaking Immigrants in Argentina and has published in academic journals, current affairs magazines, and newspapers. His scholarly research focuses on international migration and transnational political movements. Steven is also a co-host of the podcast Historias, a weekly program discussing cutting edge research and current events happening in Latin American and Caribbean societies.
