Satang Nabaneh is a doctoral candidate and works as a project officer of the Women’s Rights Unit, Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria. Satang holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa (University of Pretoria), and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of The Gambia.

As a feminist (socio)legal researcher and activist, her publications and advocacy pieces span women’s rights, human rights in Africa, comparative constitutionalism, politics, democracy and rule of law. She can be found on Twitter @satangnabaneh.
