Dr. Reinhild Ernst has been the Secretariat Coordinator of the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development since 2016. She looks back on a career of 25 years in development and international cooperation, working in agricultural programmes in Africa, South-East Asia and Latin America. Prior to her involvement with the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development, Dr. Ernst has held diverse positions with the United Nations and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
