Lina Munoz-Avila

Lina Muñoz-Avila is a Colombian lawyer, PhD in law. She is currently the Director of the Master of Environmental Law and Management at Universidad del Rosario in Bogota where she serves as lecturer. She has been a legal adviser for the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Colombia and consultant to the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the World Resources Institute. She was part of the negotiation process of the Escazú Agreement of access rights to information, public participation and justice in environmental matters. Her areas of interest include environmental law, sustainable development and strategic litigation.
