Jane Alver

Jane Alver is an Australian academic, lawyer, public servant, and gender adviser. She has been a gender equality advocate for more than 25 years, at the local, national and global levels. She is a senior research fellow at the Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance at the University of Canberra where her Ph.D. research focus is on diverse feminist civil society forming strategic alliances for Pacific regional gender equality. She was named in the 2018 100 Woman of Influence by the Australian Financial Review.
