Ana Lucía Zacapa has twenty years of experience in philanthropy, investment banking and non-profit management. She is currently advising ipsy, the world’s largest beauty community and subscription service, on the launch of their corporate philanthropy program. Previously, Ana was the founding Director of the California office for Ceres, the leading U.S. non-profit mobilizing Fortune 500 businesses and institutional investors in support of climate and water policy action. Prior to Ceres, Ana was a Senior Program Officer at the Skoll Foundation, where she was a member of Skoll’s Program Investment Committee and led the foundation’s Sustainable Markets program. Ana spent the first decade of her career in finance including at Bank of America Securities as Vice President focused on the renewable energy sector and at Bear Stearns as Vice President in investment banking and emerging markets research. She graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.A. in economics and earned her master’s degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics. She is originally from Honduras, and is fluent in Spanish and Italian. Ana lives in San Francisco with her family.
