Agnes Mampusti is Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives (GAIA)’s global digital communications officer based in the Philippines. Having over 13 years of experience in publishing, media, corporate social responsibility, and digital communications in Malaysia and the Philippines, Agnes is now focusing her expertise into GAIA’s online presence towards a zero waste world where no one is left behind.
She is passionate about amplifying the voices of those at the frontlines of the climate crisis – the waste workers, women, grassroots communities, and the Global South – as more often than not, they are also at the forefront of the solutions. Agnes is a recipient of the Rotary Club of Bagumbayan Manila Youth Achievement Award and currently sits at the executive committee of a national advocacy group promoting the values represented by the Philippine national flag.
