Sienna & Friends: Eco-Friendly Baby Food

Children can be quite picky when it comes to food and a limited palate minimizes essential gut bacteria, increasing their risk of diet complications down the road. So, broadening a baby’s taste tolerance is crucial for a healthy future of eating habits; here’s how Sienna & Friends’ baby food can help.

Homespun Origins

Based in Belgium, Sienna & Friends is a family-owned business, founded by a mother and father, Aurélie and Massimo. Together, they have two young sons, Amedeo and Leopoldo, who double as taste testers.

Aurélie worked in the culinary industry for over 10 years, building upon her already impressive skills in her home kitchen. She notes an interest in cooking from a young age and a dream to create her own start-up incorporating things she loves most, her children and food.

The company’s mission is to help young parents in building a healthy relationship with food for their child. According to the founders, the gastronomical golden age is between six months and three years old. During this time, children are the most receptive to new tastes and textures making it the best time to introduce them to new food experiences and stimulate the development of their palate.

Sienna & Friends advocates for nutrition education and encourages parents to teach their babies balanced eating habits by cooking at home, consuming whole foods and ingredients, sharing meals as a family, and making sure their child enjoys what they eat.

With Sienna & Friends products, these elements are guaranteed.

Instrumental Ingredients

Sienna & Friends uses organic ingredients to create a variety of flavors suitable for children from six months to three years. They combine whole foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts, vegetable oils, and grains to make delicious and colorful purees.

Key components in all their recipes are spices and herbs, abnormal ingredients across the baby food market despite their essential role in palate development. Introducing young children to spices and herbs teaches them flavor and reduces their need for less nutritious additives like salt or sugar as they get older.

In addition to palate expansion, herbs and spices are beneficial in many ways. There is ample evidence that these ingredients possess antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumorigenic, and anticarcinogenic properties.

Baby Steps to a Better Future

Sienna & Friends is certified in EU Organic Farming. This ensures responsible use of energy and natural resources, maintenance of biodiversity, preservation of regional ecological balances, enhancement of soil fertility, maintenance of water quality, and sufficient care for animals.

Sienna & Friends recognizes the need for an operative Earth and respects it in their production process. By working with Impakter Eco, this company solidifies its allegiance to our planet by marketing itself to consumers with similar values.

Omnifarious Options

Starting from six months old, Sienna & Friends has various food options for your baby.

Baby Beginnings

A child’s relationship with food is contingent on the actions of their parents. If you expose them to vast flavors from a young age, you’ll widen their palate so they can enjoy diverse tastes and textures as they grow.

Doing this alleviates the risk of raising picky children and improves their health as they regularly consume whole, organic foods. These healthy eating habits begin at home.
