The green transition is advancing, with corporations and the public sector at the forefront of progress. Nevertheless, in the UK and globally, the “implementation gap” is growing. Innovators, investors, and business owners must realign with governments and policymakers in order to achieve meaningful progress.
On June 23 and 24, 2026, Reset Connect London, an award-winning sustainability ecosystem, climate tech and green investment event, aims to close this gap by bringing together policymakers and industry professionals committed to the UK’s green economy. The flagship event of London Climate Action Week, Reset Connect will create “intentional collisions” between technology, finance, and policy.
Reset Connect London: Six Stages
Taking place at Excel London, Reset Connect will provide sustainably focused business owners and innovators with a platform to showcase their net-zero strategies and tools. In the words of the Corporate Communications Director for BMW Group, the event is “a good opportunity to gather thoughts together from lots of experts in one place at one time and to have a conversation about how can we decarbonise our world.”

Following the Reset Connect North event in March, Reset Connect London will feature over 300 exhibitors, 2,500 investors, and 7,500 professionals across the sustainability, finance, and energy sectors. With policymakers from across the UK in attendance, more than 400 speakers will take to the event’s six stages to drive climate action.
Stage 1: Net Zero Business
This stage will feature speakers committed to corporate decarbonisation and practical steps forward. Discussions will be centered around “Powering Expansion: UK-China Green Tech via Hong Kong” on day one and “How Can Advertising Accelerate the Race to a Sustainable Future for Businesses and Consumers?” on day two. Key speakers include David Kennedy, the CEO of SBTi, Richard Andrews, KPMG’s Head of Sustainability, and Chris Stark, Head of the UK’s Mission for Clean Power at the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.
Stage 2: Finance and Investment
This stage will focus on financing green projects. Speakers include Alicia Kedzierski, Head of Sustainable Finance Department at the FCA and Russell Bishop, Head of Sustainable Finance Policy at the EBRD. On day one, there will be a discussion on “How Private Capital is Powering Climate & Sustainability Innovation” led by Akhil Shah, Director of Climate Tech, Sustainable Finance & Transition at HSBC UK. On day two, Terri Bloore, Managing Partner for Corporate & Financial Services at FINN Partners, will moderate a talk on “Can Purpose Deliver Profit? The CFO’s Role in Driving Green Growth.” Further discussions are centered around “Igniting a New Era of Proactive Climate Finance” and “Balancing Societal and Financial Risk and the Importance of Impact Investing.”
Stage 3: Cities & Infrastructure
The aim of this stage is “building the resilient urban environments of tomorrow.” Key discussions include: “Creating Resilient Cities Through Sustainable Transport and Travel,” “Retrofitting and Building Sustainable Housing for a Decarbonised Future,” and “How Can the UK Tackle the Plastic Crisis?”
Stage 4: Energy & Tech
Without technology, the net-zero transition would be at a standstill. Reset Connect’s Energy & Tech stage will feature panels around the systems and software powering the shift. The discussion around “The Next Wave of Clean Energy” will include Wafa Jafri, UK Head of Energy Strategy & Global Lead for Energy Transition at KPMG UK, and Carl Trowell, President of UK Strategic Infrastructure at National Grid. Lewis Richards, the CTO of Energy at Microsoft, will join others in speaking about “The AI Powerhouse: Building the UK’s Green Data Future.”

Stage 5: Nature-Based Solutions
From biodiversity to sustainable food, the Nature-Based Solutions stage hopes to present businesses with a path to net zero while investing in natural landscapes across the UK. Speakers include Dean Cooper, the Global Energy Lead for the WWF, and Samir Whitaker, the Biodiversity Lead at Ørsted.
Stage 6: Pitch & Invest
This stage is considered the “launchpad for the next generation of climate-tech innovators.” Alice Ingram, the Innovation & Growth Specialist at Innovate UK Business Connect, and Katharine Paterson, the Senior Innovation and Growth Specialist at RTC North, will lead panels in urban regeneration, tech and AI, and corporate sustainability. On day two, one startup will be chosen to represent the UK at the Startup World Cup in San Francisco in November.

Reset Connect London: Three Barriers
The event will focus on three barriers to the green transition: capital, collaboration, and scalability. This includes bridging the finance gap, cross-sector collaboration, and incentivising innovation.
Bridging the Finance Gap
One of the most significant barriers to the green transition is the lack of funding, yet trillions of pounds are at the ready for investment. Reset Connect’s Finance & Investment and Pitch & Invest stages will open doors for sustainable investments across the United Kingdom, with the idea to move “away from theoretical discussions and towards real deal-making.”
Cross-Sector Collaboration: The Public-Private Nexus
Regulations across the sustainability sector are constantly changing, causing a significant disconnect between innovators and governments. Reset Connect aims to increase cross-sector collaboration by giving innovators insight into the constantly evolving regulatory landscape.
Incentivising Innovation
By bringing together over 300 exhibitors, innovative startups on the Pitch & Invest stage, investors, and decision-makers, Reset Connect aims to scale sustainable solutions. As 2030 rapidly approaches, the need for innovation is more important than ever.

In addition to the six stages, the event will feature eight show floor hubs, where climate innovators can forge essential partnerships. From people and careers to business and supply chain, these interactive hubs aim to shape the future of the net-zero space.
Speaking about the event, the Head of Sustainability and Social Innovation for Danone UK & Ireland said:
“Come to Reset Connect London to hear new ideas and confront some of the tensions faced in the sustainability sector. There’s always a wealth of different organisations doing really innovative things. It’s great for me to understand the landscape which can lead to supply connections.”
The time is now for governments and corporations to invest in the green transition and hit climate targets. Reset Connect London will help bridge the implementation gap and set investors, business owners, and policymakers on the right path toward a sustainable future.
