One Of A Kind Eco-Sneakers For Him And Her

One Of A Kind Eco-Sneakers For Him And Her

Matching outfits are a low-key way to show off your romantic connection, so don’t forget to match your sneakers, too!

When it comes to matching outfits that give “toi et moi” vibes, it doesn’t mean that it’s all about cringey his-and-hers graphic tees or hideous head-to-toe identical copies.

Couple sneakers can be the perfect way to slay together, without going over the top. This stylish touch is cute without being very noticeable as it allows couples to express their oneness through accessories while showcasing their individuality through fashion.

Producing sneakers can be extremely carbon intensive, and accounts for 1.4% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Finding a sustainable pair of kicks can be tricky, especially since many brands are produced from virgin polymers and hazardous colours.

The good news?  With our Impakter Eco Marketplace, browsing versatile matching sneakers for you and your partner  just got easier. Here’s some of our favourite suggestions.

All My Eco Barky Black and Shiny White

Founded in 2019 in Barcelona, All My Eco features a  stylish chic combination of black and white sneakers to aid  in the fight for Earth. Each pair is produced from recyclable materials and fruit leather, and each sale donates 1% to NGOs ( Non-Profit Organisation). It doesn’t end there; 5 trees are planted with every purchase, too.

Plus, to say NO to factory farming, which causes deforestation and animal misery, pollutes the environment, and accounts for more than 37% of global methane emissions.

Their vegan “leather” is constructed of a synthetic material that is eco-friendly, resistant, antimicrobial, and transpirable, and it has Oeko-TexStandard’s 100 class I certification.

This means that all of its components have been evaluated for dangerous compounds and are safe for humans and the environment.

Retro RE49 White and Blue

Shout out to all retro party couples with this pair of eco sneakers that’ll give some “oldies but goldies” vibes to your matching look.

From a construction of recycled and regenerated sailboat awning and denim to the  perfect soft pair of cotton terry sneakers using discarded hotel towels, RE49 gives waste materials a second lifecycle  by converting them into shoes, which are sustainable, carbon neutral, and PETA-Vegan approved. This two-tone tyre sole gives each pair  a chic, modern look that can’t  be found anywhere else.

Twins For Peace: BOU BOU Message For Her

Sending romantic notes is one of the oldest love languages on earth. Take love notes to the next level with hidden messages like “Je t’aime à la folie (I love you madly)” on the Twins for Peace BOUBOU shoes, giving your relationship that special je ne sais quoi.

Started from a charitable initiative to help underprivileged children around the world, BOUBOU donates a portion of its profits from  a single canvas shoe made consciously in Brazil. Over the last five years, the brand expanded to encompass both men and women’s collections.

The BOUBOU high top leather sneaker is made of genuine leather and has raw materials that were carefully selected for comfort and elegance with satin lace for a special touch.

Moreover, it has a Green EVA insole made of sugarcane and is covered in organic cotton with a sole made from 50% natural rubber providing your loved one  comfort, resilience, and flexibility–not to mention extra durability thanks to the 50% recycled rubber.

KULSON Pastel Lemon Light and Mint

In the spring of 2017, Kulson began their search for a timeless, noble unisex sneakers in Berlin. With the goal of creating a go-to sneaker perfect for any event, from casual, stylish, or sporty, Kulson’s mission embodies sustainable slow fashion.

Finally, after two years of producing 22 prototypes, they created a sole constructed from 70% recycled materials. All materials are processed in a factory in northern Portugal under fair working conditions.

This is why a pair in lemon light or mint would not only satisfy all the flowery couples out there, but also encourage ethical practices. Four percent of the proceeds are sold to groups working to clean garbage pollution and lost fishing nets littering the oceans. Some major organizations that are supported are Sea Shepherd, The Great Bubble Barrier, Healthy Seas, The Ocean Cleanup and more.

To all sportsy lovebirds, Grand Step Shoes are not the result of anonymous mass manufacturing, but of genuine artistry to produce high performance shoes for all energetic people.

Grand Step Shoes’ goal is to create beautiful and comfortable sneakers made from ecological materials in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner from recycled PET-Mesh / microsuede (post consumer recycled PET-bottles) upper material, bamboo lining, recycled EVA/ cork insock and rubber outsole.

All it takes is just one pair of speed recycled sneakers to cut CO2 emissions in all sectors of business, such as by choosing short delivery routes or, preferably, using resource-saving transportation from manufacturing locations to end customers. Additionally, fair working conditions are required for sustainable production throughout the full value chain.
