We evaluated their Environmental Social Governance (ESG) policies and actions. We checked their certifications, aggregated data, news and by putting all these information together, we rated how they are tackling the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The Impakter Sustainability Index is a rating system that evaluates the Environmental Social Governance (ESG) policies and actions of the most influential brands and companies on the planet.
On top of that, it assesses how these companies are addressing the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
We started developing the Impakter index methodology in 2018 with a team of senior experts and analysts.
The Impakter Sustainability Index is created by evaluating several data sources, including certifications, aggregated data, and news articles.
All this information is then used to create a comprehensive rating of a company’s sustainability efforts.
The Index is intuitive, transparent yet rigorous and objective, with SDG targets as its compass and industry certificates as its guidelines and pillars.
The primary goals of the Index are transparency and democratization for the sustainability reporting sector.
With the Index, we are making sustainability compliance and sustainable finance approachable for SMEs that generally struggle to meet expensive reporting and transformation requirements.
