Apple unveils $99M clean energy initiative in China

Apple Inc. announced a 720 million yuan ($99.22 million) clean energy fund in China during CEO Tim Cook’s visit to Beijing. The initiative aims to expand clean energy capacity and support Apple’s goal of transitioning its supply chain to 100% renewable energy by 2030. The fund reinforces Apple’s commitment to sustainability and aligns with its broader environmental strategy to reduce carbon emissions and promote renewable energy adoption within its supply chain. EU supports Gaza reconstruction, calls for PA Governance

The EU supports the Arab summit’s Gaza reconstruction plan, with a role in rebuilding efforts. Kaja Kallas stated the Palestinian Authority should govern Gaza and pledged EU support.
