Tamsyn Barton - CEO at Bond

Tamsyn Barton is the CEO at Bond. She joined Bond in 2017 from the European Investment Bank (EIB), where she was Director-General, Lending Operations Outside the EU, before representing EIB on the Board of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development. Prior to this she spent 13 years in two stints working for the ODA/DFID in policy and programme roles, latterly as a Senior Civil Servant. She began her career in development working for local NGOs in South India, and was also Head of Technology at ITDG, now Practical Action. She is a Trustee of the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
