Mildred Achoch is a poet, screenwriter, blogger, speaker and the founder of ROFFEKE - Rock ‘n' Roll Film Festival, Kenya. She has spoken at Forum on Internet Freedom in Africa, African Women In Tech conference and the International Women's Day edition of SPICE Talks. She was part of the writing team for "The Team", a television drama show focusing on peace, justice, equity and good governance.
She was the only African poet who participated in the Oulipost and the Pulitzer Remix.
