Léna Remy-Kovach is a Ph.D. student at the University of Freiburg (Germany). Her doctoral work focuses on culturally responsive strategies for healing in contemporary fantasy and gothic Indigenous literature from Turtle Island. Her current research interests include the commodification of Indigenous knowledge in Euro-American horror TV series (Supernatural, iZombie, Helix…) and cartoons by Native illustrators in the context of online environmental activism.
