I am the 7th of 13 children. My love for nature started at age 9, my comfort zone being under the forest canopy with every living thing around. I am a project coordinator with the Belize Red Cross; Member of the Gender-Based Violence committee; Founder and President of the Community Baboon Sanctuary and Women’s Conservation Group; Founder and Manager of the Harmony Pre-School; Domestic Violence Counsellor; Treasurer Board of Management Belize Rural High School; Street Mediation/Conflict Management Facilitator; Justice of the Peace, meritorious Award for community service; Woman of the year award for community development services and recent recipient of the Equator Prize.
