Janet Tinsley is the Chief Global Impact Officer at Water.org, where she leads the organization’s global program operations, ensuring the successful delivery of its mission to remove financial barriers to safe water and sanitation for those living in poverty. With nearly 30 years of experience in international development, Janet has a deep focus on impact-driven initiatives that empower communities and enhance resilience. Since joining Water.org in 2012, she has played a pivotal role in scaling impact, developing organizational strategy, and nurturing talent. Janet oversees Water.org’s core business of driving and scaling access to water and sanitation, leading regional teams and lines of business to support the organization’s vision of bringing lasting safe water and sanitation solutions to all. She also serves as a key advisor across all levels of the organization, guiding strategic initiatives to advance Water.org's mission globally.
