Passionate about fighting food waste and protecting the planet, Fiona Nearn lives and breathes the OzHarvest message every day. In her role as Media & Communications Manager, she is always thinking of new ideas to raise awareness about the issue and promote the good work of OzHarvest. Fiona was part of the in-house team behind the Fight Food Waste campaign and is constantly absorbed by global news articles on food waste and living a sustainable life. Born and educated in the UK, she worked in PR & Communications for major FMCG companies in London before moving to Australia to start a family. Fiona is proud to work for purpose and spent four years with the national suicide prevention organisation R U OK? before moving to OzHarvest to take up her current role.
