Fatou holds a MSc. Degree in Sexual and Reproductive Health from The Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh and a BSc. in Psychology and Health from Wolverhampton University. She has extensive academic and professional experience in supporting survivors of Sexual and Gendered-Based Violence (SGBV). In early 2018, Fatou returned to the Gambia where she has founded an organization called Women in Liberation and Leadership (WILL). WILL focuses on addressing sexual and gender-based violence and providing psycho-social support to women and girls who have experienced sexual violence.
