Donald Stanton - Former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense

Donald Stanton was commissioned through Cornell University Naval ROTC, served off Vietnam aboard a destroyer and aircraft carrier, and then flew as a P-3C anti-submarine warfare Patrol Plane Commander deployed to the Atlantic & Mediterranean. He served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and holds the Combat Action Ribbon and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He wrote “Looking Back at the Cold War; 30 Veterans and a Patrol Plane Commander Remember.”
