Chris Baker - Programme Head Water Resources, Wetlands International

As Programme Head for Water Resources Management, Chris aims to raise the significance of wetlands in the daily management of water resources to ensure that biodiversity and livelihoods of wetland dependent communities are in balance with other water uses.

Before Wetlands International, he conducted research for the Wetlands Ecosystems Research Group in the Royal Holloway Institute for Environmental Research at University College London. He has a BSc in Geography from University College London and a PhD in wetland nitrogen dynamics and functioning from the University of Exeter.
