Carine Gibert is the founder and lead facilitator of Grounded-in-Motion, whose work centers on what it looks like to deepen human-earth connection and return to an embodied sense of knowing while processing biodiversity loss. She brings these embodied ways of knowing and practices into academic institutions and cultural spaces to raise ecological consciousness. She has been teaching sustainability for more than two decades and writes spoken word poetry as a way to shift climate activism into intimate spaces that allow us to explore our relational tissue with the natural world.
