A Belgian national married to an Australian and mother of two, Anne De Lannoy has been working in the public relations and communications sector for over 25 years. She started her career in Brazil working as a free-lance journalist covering South America and moved five years later to Italy where she joined an annual conference of European film and television professionals to manage their international relations, fundraising and public relations activities. She first started working for FAO as a consultant handling media relations and later as a Liaison and Information Officer for FAO’s public awareness and fundraising campaign, TeleFood. She is currently Communication Coordinator for FAO’s Strategic Programme on Resilience and manages its reporting and outreach team.
