Andrew Bogrand is a Senior Communications Advisor at Oxfam. In this role, he supports campaigns that defend human rights, tackle poverty and champion natural resource justice. Prior to this, he led public engagement at Democracy International and provided research and advocacy assistance at Human Rights Watch. Andrew has conducted human rights fieldwork, organized media trainings and helped manage international development projects across Africa, the Middle East and Eurasia. He received his master’s degree from Stanford University, where he focused on human rights, democratization and humanitarian action, and his bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College. He speaks Russian.
