When the school bell rings, children are frequently tired, hungry, and bored. They need something quick to snack on and something to keep them occupied, especially if they’re out but it’s not quite time for you to pick them up yet.

For many kids, snacks mean the world to them. The common picture might be your child roaming around the snacking aisle filled with chips and healthy parents like us would not want to be like “Eat this, not that” when they grab something unhealthy. However, admittedly it is quite hard to find the “real healthy” snacking options as all of them seem to be marketed as healthy and nutritious enough.

Plus, for some busy parents we don’t actually have enough time to prepare healthy options like mini pizzas or cheesy cauliflowers in the morning just to see them turn cold and inedible. And sometimes kids are just funny, so we’re here to save you some sighs and “Mummy/Daddy, why did you make me a cold mini pizzas?” by giving you pointers to some of our best healthy snacks to brighten up their school days.

So, these are the five irresistible kid-approved snacks to put into their lunchbox.

Fruit Ride Banana Apple Basket

All started from the desire of a father, Cédric, who returned to Nantes in 2017 after fifteen years working for a prominent French industrial firm. This return to basics is complemented by a desire to begin on a new adventure with a simple and specific goal in mind: to create nice and nutritious eating items.

After a couple of trials and errors, his project began to take shape: 100% natural, organic farming exclusively from Côteaux Nantais, a recognized partner in the organic fruit sector in France to a delicious sugar-free and preservative free fruit stripes like this fun sheet of Banana Apple Fruit Ride Basket that contains the apple’s sweetness and the smoothness of the banana that literally melt in the mouth and became the talk of the town in France in various TV channels.

Still it wasn’t enough for Cédric. He wanted to produce not just a healthy product for kids but also treat the planet right, adopting a zero-waste policy as the main goal for his production process. In addition, he made sure to source his materials from local farmers who have constructed water retention basins to preserve water.
