Zak Zaidman

Zak has spent 20+ years creating purpose-driven products and businesses, with particular expertise in food and beverage. Currently a co-founder at ReSeed, his extensive experience encompasses formulation, ingredient sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, packing, distribution, and many other core aspects of the food and beverage space. Zak has put this experience to use over the years by developing, launching, and consulting with a variety of brands, including Sunkist, Patagonia Provisions, Solely and Grass Fed Coffee, and RDCL Superfoods.

Earlier in his career, Zak founded Gravity, a pioneering company in Virtual Reality content, which he ultimately sold to Frog Design. He lived at a permaculture farm in a rainforest in Costa Rica where he co-founded Ecovilla, a sustainable intentional community, and Kopali, an organic and fair trade superfood snack brand which he led from concept through global supply chain development and US national distribution. During this time he also drove a vegetable oil-powered eco-bus, one of the first of its kind, across the United States, and through México, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Costa Rica.

Zak was raised in Mexico and has lived in France, Costa Rica, San Francisco, and New York. He is now settled in Topanga, California with his wife and daughter.
