Mr. Jan Vandemoortele, PHD. - MDG Founder

Jan Vandemoortele, PhD. served in various capacities with the United Nations for over 30 years, both in the field and at headquarters—with UNICEF, UNDP, ILO and on loan to the World Bank. He was co-architect of the Millennium Development Goals, a topic on which he published widely. He is now independent researcher and lecturer. He serves on advisory boards of various development institutes and initiatives.
