Mary Lou Higgins - Director of WWF Colombia

Mary Louise Higgins is the Director of WWF Colombia. Mary Louise has a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Pennsylvania and a doctorate in entomology from the University of California, Berkeley. After a AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science) Fellowship, she worked for the US government as an environmental specialist for the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and as a professor for various academic programs. She has lived in Colombia for more than 20 years and has worked for WWF in Latin America for 27 years.
