Manuela Balliet Ahogo is a Regional Research Advisor for Sub-Saharan Africa at TfG. She provides VACS country support, research project management and technical support to research partners in Sub-Saharan Africa. Previously, she coordinated TfG’s research fellowship programs and VACS secondary analyses project conducted by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Manuela is a Public Health Researcher in the field of violence against children. She received her doctorate from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, where she was also a member of the Child Protection Research Group.
She also holds an MSc in Global Health and Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom) and a BSc in Genetics from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom).
