Certificate Description
The ISO 45001 (previously OHSAS 18001) is a set of requirements aiming to improve employee safety and reduce workplace risks, to create better, safer working conditions.
According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), more than 7 600 people die from work-related accidents or diseases every single day. That’s why the ISO 45001 has been put in place with the potential to save almost three million lives each year.
The document was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which develops voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
