Green-e Climate
Certificate Description
Green-e® Climate is a global third-party certification program for carbon offsets. This chain-of-custody certification requires project verification by Endorsed Programs (like the American Carbon Registry, the Climate Action Reserve, the Gold Standard, and the Verified Carbon Standard). It is the only program to monitor how offsets are transacted and advertised in the retail market, protecting both the buyer and the seller.
The program is developed and managed by Green-e, which helps businesses and individuals purchase verified clean energy with confidence, and consumers to choose sustainable products and services.
