The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) is a global collaboration of consumer goods companies whose mission is to ensure safe food for everyone.
The initiative is led by The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF), which brings together 34 retailers and manufacturers from across the CGF membership and an extended food safety community to address challenges facing food safety systems in their supply chains and the markets they operate in, thereby helping to raise the food safety bar globally.
