European Feed Ingredients Safety Certification (EFISC)
Certificate Description
The European Feed Ingredients Safety Certification (EFISC) provides guidance to the manufacturer on the implementation of its feed safety management system, pre- requisite programme, HACCP, documentation, traceability and incident management in combination with an accredited third party certification system.
The scheme is based on the European Guide for the industrial manufacturing of safe feed materials, developed by EFISC and endorsed by the European Commission DG Health and Food Safety, the EU Member States and the European Accreditation Body.
The EFISC was developed by the EU sector organisations and their manufacturers, taking up their responsibility for safe feed and food across countries.
