ZQ Certification
Certificate Description
The ZQ Certification ensures the welfare of animals and people in the production of merino wool in New Zealand. The standard certifies that wool has been produced under environmentally, socially and economically sustainable practices to high animal welfare standards, and is traceable back to its source.
The standard is developed by ZQ Natural Fibre, an established grower standard owned and operated by The New Zealand Merino Company Ltd, and is recognised by the ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard.
