The National Ecolabelling Programme – Green Choice Philippines (NELP-GCP) is a voluntary, third-party ecolabelling programme that aims to encourage clean manufacturing practices and consumption of environmentally preferable products and services by following the guidelines set by ISO 14020 and ISO 14024.
NELP-GCP aims to change the behavioral patterns in consumption and production that tend to misuse, abuse, and degrade our environment. It is one of the country’s initiatives to exercise the fundamentals of sustainable development.
NELP-GCP is managed by the Philippine Center for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Inc. (PCEPSDI), a non-stock, non-profit and non-government organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
