Certificate Description
The ISO/IEC 27701 is a set of requirements and guidelines aiming to enhance the existing Information Security Management System with additional requirements in order to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve a Privacy Information Management System.
The document is applicable to all types and sizes of organizations, including public and private companies, government entities and not-for-profit organizations, which are PII controllers and/or PII processors processing PII within an ISMS.
The document was developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which develops voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
