HAND IN HAND (HIH) - Fair Trade Rapunzel

The Hand in Hand (HIH) label focuses both on the quality of the produced goods and on the relationship with producers in the products’ countries of origin. The quality of products is insured by independent inspectors. HIH hopes to improve trade relations between its parent company, Rapunzel, and its suppliers long term.
They hope to achieve this by supplying technical advice for farmers, guaranteeing future purchases, and giving advance financing and credit upon request. HIH was founded by Rapuzel, one of the leading organic food producers in Europe, who specialize in palm oil. Rapunzel uses this standard for labelling its own products.
