Certificate Description
The Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) seeks to create standardization in trade between its Member States. This includes standardizations such as Metrology as well as what foods are considered to be Halal. The goals of SMIIC are to create a quality infrastructure that supports and protects its Member States.
They also hope to increase the interconnectivity of their Member States. SMIIC was created by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The OIC has 57 Member States and its mission is to safeguard and protect the interests of the Islamic World.
