The Red Tractor Standards assures food safety, animal welfare, hygiene and environmental protection through every part of the food chain.
The Red Tractor Standards includes the following schemes: Beef and Lamb, Dairy, Fresh Produce, Crops, Poultry, and Pigs.
The standards are part of the Red Tractor Food Assurance Scheme, a not for profit company, run by the food industry to ensure food comes from a trustworthy and safe source. The UK farm and food standards scheme covers all of animal welfare, food safety, traceability and environmental protection.
